Massage Therapy

Massage can have a number of effects on the body by acting directly on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. It can increase metabolism, manage pain and at the same time decrease healing time.

By manipulating the soft tissues, massage enhances the movement of blood and lymph fluids in the body. Thereby, increasing oxygen and nutrients to your body's cells, while assisting the removal of harmful bi-products of metabolism, exercise and inflammation. This helps muscles repair more efficiently with fewer restrictions.

Massage treatments are beneficial for specific conditions, including:

Headaches  *   Frozen Shoulder   *   Chronic Back Pain  *   Faulty Posture   *  TMJ

Fibromyalgia  *  Tennis/Golfers Elbow  *   Post Traumatic Stress Disorder  *  Parkinsons

                     Sports Injuries   *     Pregnancy      *      Strains/Sprains

The two main massage therapies that most people request are Relaxation or Deep Tissue  Both treatments are therapeutic in nature and are provided by our therapists. When booking an appointment with our therapists make sure you specify what type of massage you would like. There is a significant difference between  these techniques.
